What is Direct Primary Care?

Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a simple, membership-based model of healthcare. Instead of billing insurance, patients pay a flat monthly fee directly to their physician. This covers most primary care services, including office visits, longer appointments, timely access during regular office hours, and secure messaging for non-urgent questions.

Because there’s no insurance paperwork, I can spend more time with you, focus on prevention and long-term health, and keep care straightforward and transparent. Patients who carry insurance can still use it for services outside the practice, such as labs, imaging, and medications, while their Direct Primary Care membership covers their ongoing primary care with me. If labs are needed and you don’t carry insurance, I can help you get this at more affordable prices.

DPC works alongside insurance, not instead of it — insurance is still used for emergencies, hospital care, and specialists, while your DPC doctor manages your everyday healthcare and helps coordinate the rest.
