I don’t routinely perform minor procedures in the office. The bulk of my medical training and clinical experience has been in the United Kingdom, where family physicians typically focus on comprehensive medical care rather than office-based procedures.
If a procedure is needed, I’m happy to help arrange a referral and coordinate your care with the appropriate specialist or service.
-
I bring many years of experience as a physician, along with a thoughtful, relationship-based approach to care. Patients often tell me they appreciate that I’m knowledgeable, approachable, and that I take the time to truly listen to their concerns.
My goal is to create a calm, unhurried space where patients feel heard, understood, and supported—so we can make decisions together that make sense for their health and their lives. Read more here.

Membership includes unlimited appointments, including in-person, telehealth (as long as you are somewhere in the state of Colorado), and even home visits for those with significant mobility impairment preventing them from being able to come in to the office.
-
Not at the moment. In my personal opinion, we as providers often over-medicalize life and a symptom of that is a pressure or expectation to check labs more often than needed. I’d be happy to request labs for a specific reason or concern that you have, and to recommend when a routine lab screening may be helpful. If you don’t have insurance, I’ll help you have access to discounted pricing for labs.
-
Membership includes the ability to send messages through the patient app for non-urgent questions. I review and respond to these messages during normal business hours. This helps me give thoughtful, safe replies while maintaining a sustainable practice.
If something is truly urgent outside of office hours, an urgent care clinic or the emergency room is usually the right place to seek care. For issues that are concerning but not emergencies, I aim to offer same- or next-business-day appointments whenever possible.
-
Memberships are flexible and can be canceled at any time from your account. You’ll retain access through the end of your current billing cycle. However, if you want to re-enroll within 12 months of cancelling, there will be a $200 re-enrollment fee.
-
I don’t offer single, one-time visits. In order to book an appointment, patients need to be enrolled as members of the practice. This allows me to provide thoughtful, unrushed care, maintain continuity, and be available to my patients in a meaningful way. Membership keeps the practice small and sustainable so I can focus on long-term health rather than quick visits.
If you’re looking for urgent or one-time care, an urgent care clinic or walk-in clinic may be a better fit.

Direct Primary Care is a membership-based model where patients pay a flat monthly fee directly to their doctor for primary care services. This allows for longer visits, easier access during office hours, and a focus on ongoing, relationship-based care rather than insurance paperwork.
-
I don’t bill insurance for visits or services provided in the practice. Direct Primary Care works alongside insurance, which patients can continue to use for labs, imaging, medications, hospital care, and specialist visits.
-
In most cases, yes. Recent legislation has allowed Direct Primary Care fees to be treated as qualified medical expenses as of Jan 1st 2026, with monthly limits of up to $150 for individuals and $300 for families when using HSA funds. You can also typically use your HSA as usual for labs, imaging, medications, and specialist services that I order for you.
Because HSA rules and individual plans can vary, it’s always a good idea to confirm eligibility with your HSA provider or tax professional.
-
Not billing insurance allows me to spend more time with patients and keep care simple and transparent. It reduces administrative work and paperwork, which means fewer rushed visits and more focus on your health rather than billing requirements. Read more about the Direct Primary Care model here.
-
Medicare requires patients to sign a simple agreement stating that they understand their Direct Primary Care doctor will not bill Medicare for services. By signing, the patient agrees to pay the DPC membership fee directly and not submit those visits to Medicare for reimbursement.
This form does not cancel Medicare or affect Medicare benefits — it just makes clear that primary care provided through the DPC practice is outside of Medicare.
If you have Medicare and would like to sign up with me, please add your name to my waiting list here. Once there are 20 patients on the list, I will formally opt out of Medicare so I can begin enrolling you. This process can take one to two months—please feel free to email me at hello@cimarronfamilypractice.com if you’d like more information.
-
Medicaid rules don’t allow patients to pay privately for primary care services that are covered by Medicaid. Because Direct Primary Care operates outside of insurance, this means I’m not able to see Medicaid patients through this practice (unless your employer pays for your membership).
If you have Medicaid, I’m happy to direct you to clinics that can accept your coverage.
-
This is something I am actively looking into getting funded - please stay tuned!
