Medicare Info

If you have Medicare and would like to join the practice, welcome!

Medicare won’t cover your membership fees at Cimarron Family Practice, but you can still use your benefits like normal for everything else, e.g. labs, imaging, specialist appointments.

To provide care through a Direct Primary Care (DPC) membership, I personally am required to formally opt out of Medicare, which I have now done.

If you have Medicare and would like to join the practice, Medicare will require you sign a statement confirming that you won’t ask them to reimburse your membership fees. I’ll provide the document you need to sign.
